It is important to change, as change means growth. You just need to ensure that you are changing for the right reasons and heading in the direction towards achieving your goals. Since we are constantly changing, even if you believe you are not – you are changing with each day, in each step that you take. Like it or not 😀
Life is full of surprises along the way. Some are wonderful, “Wow, this is happening to me – amazing!” moments, whereas other times, “No! Why me – I can’t believe this is happening?”, where we feel anger, confusion and worry building up inside as fear sneakily creeps in.
For myself I truly believe the purpose of life is love. In saying that, it is not only important to love others that we care about but to love our own personal self most of all. At the end of the day who is always with you? Who hears and feels your thoughts? Who can you trust the most? You! That’s who! ❤
Some people may believe that loving yourself is a selfish act but I feel that it is those who do not love themselves that tend to be selfish. As a person who cannot truly love anyone else, until they fully love them-self. It is like you cannot teach someone to ride a bike if you cannot do it yourself.
You cannot give love, unless you have love to give. Now when we are talking about loving ourselves, we are not talking about vanity or self-loathing. We are talking about being nice and kind to our individual self. Giving ourselves compliments, rewards and walking though life being proud of who we are.
I want you to be proud of who you are. I want you to love yourself deeply. Being kind, patient, loving, encouraging, supportive and caring to that sweet you. You need to know that you deserve a wonderful and meaningful relationship with the real you. You are lovable, anyone would be lucky to receive love from and give love to you.
