To eat more healthy and exercise often are common resolutions in the New Year ❤ I have a terrible sweet tooth. Cookies are my weakness! Ever since I was little, I have loved cookies. My mum would catch me climbing the kitchen cupboards when I was about 3-years-old in search for biscuits 😀
Yes, the normal thing would be to eat healthier this year, which I pretty much already do. I eat a lot of vegetables and ensure that I get my daily vitamins. It’s just that there is always room for improvement when it comes to health.
Balance is key, right? You see I feel there is a need to eat healthy and also treat yourself. Just one cupcake here and there, maybe a chocolate bar or piece of cake. The times that you need to review your eating habits are on days where you cave and binge on two or even three cupcakes in one go lol 🙂
It’s ok that we have days that happen like this, as long as you go back to your healthy eating ways and return to the balance. A good way to avoid such incidents is to only reward yourself after you achieve a goal. Not little goals like making your bed or doing the dishes. I mean goals such as going for a run three times a week, then buying yourself a reward. Doing it this way will keep you healthy and happy as you earn it ❤
It probably does not help me much by drawing such delicious desserts. Cake, cupcakes, apple pie and lollies (candy) are all sweet treats that I love to have (everyday if I could lol). It’s important to have strong discipline and say no to yourself.
