Lately I have been loving simple makeup that mixes in bright colours ❤ My go-to-makeup for everyday wear is basic – light foundation, mascara (only on my top eyelashes) and lip balm.
Even though I love bright colour eyeshadow, I rarely wear it to work – unless its a special occasion, such as a team dress-up for Halloween or a Christmas party 😀 I enjoy playing with makeup but I really do not like the idea of full-on makeup while being at work all day in an office, as it would just feel gross for me.
Particularly in summer. Here in Sydney temperatures can get up to 45 °C (113 °F) in summer. So you really do not want to be in the heat letting your makeup look like your face is melting lol 🙂 It is best to wear little makeup and ensure that you use a good makeup setting spray before you leave home in the morning.
My favourite makeup setting spray is by Australis Cosmetics called the Make-up Finishing Spritz. I’ve been using it for over seven years now (maybe even longer). It contains both rose water and aloe vera, which are healing and refreshing. It smells and feels amazing!
I am currently in love with my 3D lash mascara by Chi Chi Cosmetics. My eyelashes are naturally curly (out of six siblings, my brother and I have curly eyelashes). I love the way this mascara makes my eyelashes extra long and thick. It’s such a pretty mascara. I do not like wearing mascara on my bottom lashes but I will try it, so I can share a review with you soon.
Today on my YouTube channel I am sharing with you a simple peachy makeup look. This look is nice for subtle everyday wear as there is little makeup worn. I have been enjoying wearing makeup with no eyeliner and no contouring.
