BALI – Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary Ubud 🌸 artistbybeauty

All types of life are important on our planet 🙂 Whether it be people, animals or trees. We each have a purpose and need each other. Support and love carries us through life ❤

I travelled to Bali near the end of November 2018. It was my first time travelling to another country by plane (I have travelled to different countries on cruises), unless I include when I went to the Philippines as a baby (I’m half Filipino) but I do not think that really counts as I cannot remember much from that holiday (too young haha).

I stayed in two areas of Bali. The first area was Legian (a main suburb part of the city in Bali), which is a busy area as there are markets, the beach, malls nearby and it has a local party scene (which I did not participate in, as I am not much of a party animal, more of a foodie lol).

The second area was Ubud, a lovely town in the rural part of Bali where they have rice fields, waterfalls, wonderful restaurants, yoga, cooking classes, plenty of adventure activities and beautiful nature – where you can experience the wildlife.

Monkeys had always been an animal that I wanted to see in the wild. The monkeys in the sanctuary were well behaved and curious. One sweet baby monkey came up to me and started playing with the bottom of my dress (click here to see my Instagram video of the baby monkey), until they got told off by their mother and ran to her. It was super adorable while it lasted 😀

I did not vlog as much as I wanted to, as it was my first time travelling to Bali. However, I did live-streams while in both Legian and Ubud on my Twitch channel (which are still up). I will definitely be going there again. There are a lot of wonderful temples, nature and culture to experience in Bali. The people were lovely and I had so much fun!

Today on my Youtube Channel I am sharing with you a vlog of Ubud Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary. I loved seeing the monkeys and temples while walking through the beautiful nature.

Travelling is a huge passion of mine. I love experiencing different places, food and culture. It was funny that I brought some makeup with me but never wore any at all (even when going out for dinner). I took plenty of photos of the markets and town centre in Ubud (I shall share a post with photos and further details of this soon).

Nature always brings out the best in me and makes me feel better. It is important to go outside each day, even if it is just for 30 minutes. It is great for the mind, body and soul. Go outside and breathe in the fresh air!

I hope you enjoy the video and that it inspires you to travel to new places. Thank you so much for reading and watching. Have a wonderful day!
