Christmas MAKEUP Tutorial (Chat & Time-lapse) 🌸 artistbybeauty

Christmas time is upon us. A time to spend with those who we love dearly and matter the most in our lives. Whether that be with our parents, pets, siblings, partner, relatives or friends. It may be just with our-self. Whoever it be with, it is an excellent time to give thanks and be grateful for what we have. So that we can begin to reflect on the year that has been 2019, and make room in our minds for all the wonderful blessings that await us in 2020.

You may be surprised how powerful acknowledging daily what you are grateful for can be. Give it a go. It does not have to be written in a notebook. Simply take a piece of paper, note down the titles ‘Monday’ through to ‘Sunday’, then each day of that particular week write down three things that you are grateful for in the morning, as soon as you wake up (and three things you are grateful for at night – to make the vibration stronger). This helps make your day positive.

Doing so, your mind will begin to open your eyes to see what you have, giving you abundance and joy. This is a wonderful thing that will allow for great opportunities to appear before you and as the positivity gets stronger with each day, you may notice the things that you have strongly wanted will happen to you, more and more. As like attracts like, since we are what we think – we must feed our minds with positive words, creating a strong and healthy mindset.

Even if you do not believe in the law of attraction, it will not hurt you to be kinder to yourself and to those who you come into contact with. Smile when you can, whether it be for yourself in a mirror or to a stranger as you pass them by on the street. Ask “How are you?”, again this can be a question you ask yourself or someone else. The acknowledgement of ones existence makes us feel alive and worthy, allowing opportunity to share some words about how we feel.

As Christmas is a time of giving, be sure to not only give joy and love to others but also to yourself. Remember no matter how deeply we believe a certain person perceives us, it will not even come close to what you are thinking. What matters the most is what we think about ourselves. Am I kind, helpful or a good listener? Am I kind not only to others but also to myself? Am I helping myself by saying I cannot do this? Am I listening to the good things I say about myself or only the bad?

Sometimes we need to take a step back and look at ourselves as if we are seeing someone standing in front of us. A friend we care about that needs our love and support. Maybe it is a hug, let’s hug our-self. Maybe it is words of encouragement, “you can do it!” we shall cheer. Maybe its to be heard, let’s take a step back and listen to whats going on and think of ways to lead in a positive direction. Sometimes we have to be our own best friend.

Spending time doing the things we love can help tremendously. I know getting creative leads me to happiness every time. Having fun with makeup is one way I love to express my creativity. Today on my YouTube channel I am sharing with you a simple Christmas makeup look. I had a lot of fun playing with the colours of the Chi Chi Cosmetics Pride Rainbow Palette (See haul post here to see what I recently bought).
