Meet Lamington – My Fur baby 🌸 artistbybeauty

Pet’s are amazing and sweet! They bring a lot love and joy. It’s an unconditional love that they can have towards you.

Every single pet that has been in my life, I have treated like a member of the family. My family had many different types of pets growing up: guinea pigs, cats, fish and dogs.

I loved my guinea pig Hercules (haha it was the 90’s so I was obsessed with the Hercules tv program), he was smart and would not run away when let out of his cage in the backyard. When I would call him, he would come to me – he was awesome!

My dog Lamington is the first pet that I got on my own (meaning not while living with my family). I moved out of home when I was 18 years old and Lami didn’t come into my life until just after my 23rd birthday.

I appreciate how Lami is always happy to see me when I come home (even if I leave just for 10 mins he gets excited to see me again lol). He is a bit clingy at times but then again, he’s an only child 💗

I am glad to have Lami, he is a huge part of my life and has changed me for the better. Being a pet owner has shown to calm people and reduce stress. I guess it is the calm presence and loving attention that pet’s give their owners, that makes them feel more relaxed.

I know that with Lamington, whenever I feel stressed or under pressure with my studies he notices and will come up to me to cuddle. He always makes me feel relaxed and calm. Haha of course there are times when he barks which is annoying but for the most part he’s good.

I thought it would be a fun time to do a pet tag and introduce Lamington to you. I answer 20 questions which I obtained from Tag Questions website (click here to visit). It’s a pretty cool website as there are many fun tags to do.

This tag was a lot of fun. I will definitely do more of them. Tags are a nice way to share things about myself, getting a little personal; which is good as you can learn more about me. I am thinking of doing my first Q&A video sometime, just need to work out when to film it.

I hope you enjoy getting to know Lamington. He is super fluffy in the video, its adorable. I have recently cut his hair short (since filming this) as it is Spring and the weather is beginning to warm up. That’s the great thing with his hair, I have fun giving him a different hairstyle every 4-6 weeks.

I highly recommend having a pet if you can. They are loving and great company. Of course, you need to make sure that you can give them just as much love back. It is important to do this, as they are loyal and bring a lot of joy. They are members of the family and deserve nothing but great love 😊
