Trees can be very mystical 😊😊

When I travelled to Vanuatu and New Caledonia in 2017, I saw trees that grew in different ways from: where I currently live (Australia) and where I am originally from (New Zealand). See photos in a travel blog post here.

I found the trees to be very interesting. Many of the trees had roots protruding above the ground, at great lengths. It made me curious to learn more about nature.

In todays video on my YouTube channel I am sharing with you a moon and tree pastel painting. The tree is growing out of a hill on an angle.

I wanted this concept painting to have a bit of a scary look with the tree; yet still look beautiful. This little piece really tells a story.
