I enjoy having them as a subject in my paintings. I love every part of a flower; the petals, stem and leaves are so pretty.
Thick textures and rough brush strokes always catch my eye. It is a style I find to be very beautiful and intriguing.
Today on my YouTube channel I am sharing with you a new concept painting of flowers. This one was very fun to painting as it has a faded effect.
It was interesting blending the pastel-like colours and different angles of brush strokes together. I found this to be quite freeing.
