Happy New Year! 😊😊 I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed the last days of 2017 🎉🎉

It is the 1st of January 2018 here in Australia (it may be New Years Eve for you, depending on where you live in the world).

2017 went by so quickly. I managed to achieve most of my goals (which I am very proud of). I am looking forward to working towards new goals this new year and complete those that I did not achieve in 2017.

I thought it would make a great start to 2018 by uploading a goals painting time-lapse video as my first video for this year.

There is lovely meaning behind the colours I have used. I am going to stick this painting up on my wall, in my art room to remind me that time is very important.

My two main goals for 2018 are:

Consistency – I want more than anything to be consistent with my work. Meaning, having more focus on my art, writing, blog and YouTube channel.

It has been difficult finding a balance as I work full-time and also study. I want 2018 to be the year where I find balance and can manage each of these passions.

Don’t get me wrong there were times in 2017 when I did have balance and then other times when it slipped away.

I not only want to be consistent with all my work but also be more involved in the online social community; being supportive, participating in collabs and keeping up with replying to comments.

Positivity – I already have a positive mindset but I do believe there is always room for improvement. I want to become more positive for longer periods of time on a daily basis.

It is a bit finicky because life is not perfect for any of us. There are days where we just do not feel our best. What I want to do when it comes to days like that is to have a personal journal and write a diary entry everyday.

Having this diary will help me write out solutions (writing things out always helps me). I will include positive quotes and note my goals for 2018 in it. That way I can reflect on them everyday which will keep me on track.
