Everyone stresses. Some more than others.
There is good stress – in small doses it can motivate you to do what you need to do. Then there is bad stress – where you can end up getting pains in your body, feel depressed, and feel like everything is out of control.
There are many ways that you can overcome bad stress – or better yet, prevent it. A wonderful way to prevent stress is to learn how to meditate.
Meditation is easy for some, and hard for others. Anyone can do it within time – it just takes patience and practice. A good way to start is by lying down with your eyes closed, and listen to some music (nature music is awesome – such as thunder, waterfalls, and rain is one that I find the best to meditate to). Try it for 1 minute, then 2 minutes, and build on each day from there.
Here are some great benefits of meditation
Reduce stress
When you meditate, your mind will be put at ease, and your body will feel relaxed. Whether meditating when sitting up or lying down, you can meditate in any position that you feel is comfortable for you. Meditation reduces stress as your body will be released of tension, and your mind will clear up any negative thoughts. It is good to meditate on a daily basis, even if it is just for 10 minutes, it can reduce stress in a big way.
Can give you answers
Everyone has questions in their mind every now and then. It may be that you are asking yourself ‘Should I continue working full-time or go back to university?’ or ‘What is my purpose in life? I have too many things that I love to do’. When you practice meditation more often (preferably daily) you will find that the answers to your questions (that you have had in your mind for quite some time), will come to you.
Allows you to have better concentration
Each time you meditate your mind becomes relaxed, and more aware of surroundings. You may even find that your hearing gets better, as you will be more focused. Since meditation reduces stress, you will feel like your mind is clear, and that you can think straight. This is extremely beneficial as you will be able to focus and complete all of your required daily tasks.
Makes you feel happier
As meditation reduces stress, and clears the mind of negative thoughts, you will feel more happier. Meditation gives you that time to yourself where you can just let go of all the chaos that is going on in your life, and then when you are finished you will be able to overcome any challenges, as you will have a positive mindset. You will feel really good about yourself, feeling healthy, and less stressed which will make you a happier person.
Can help you eat healthier
Meditation goes hand-in-hand with exercising. When you meditate your blood pressure lowers, and you become more calm. As you have better concentration, and have more awareness of your thoughts. You will be likely to question which foods are good for your health, and which ones are not. This is a great benefit to ensure that you eat healthier, exercise, and stay at a healthy weight.
Meditation is an important part of my morning routine. It keeps me aware of my own thoughts, makes me happier and more positive, and helps me with staying focused and achieving my goals.
Thank you so much for reading. I hope you enjoyed this post. Ensure that you are taking good care of your health, as best you can. Have a beautiful day!

I don’t really mediate you or have a special position to use but whenever I am alone, I can feel at ease.

Hi 🙂 🙂
Late post today ❤ ❤ I have been busy completing assignments and course work.
Today was a nice sunny day in Sydney. Not too hot or too cold, lovely weather.
I have a lot of assignments to complete every week until the end of May. I am looking forward to getting them completed then having a break from study until August (when my second semester starts).
It has been quite stressful being short with time and having a lot more course work than expected. Plus my studies piled up a little since I went to visit family in New Zealand (I have a bit of course work to catch up on, hopefully I can get it all up-to-date by next weekend).
Today I am reblogging a post on meditation. Meditation is so important for me to do daily. It helps reduce my stress and keeps me sane lol.
Ok, I will now get back to completing my assignments. Thank you so much for reading. Have a great day!
