Journal – Favorite Recipes – FOOD

It’s so much fun to learn new recipes. Better yet to have a cute recipe book to store all your favourite recipes!

I love cooking and baking ❤ ❤ Especially baking since I have a sweet tooth for yummy desserts.

Post 29 Dec 2016 Pic 1.pngJournal – Favorite Recipes – I was given this lovely recipes journal as a gift for Christmas. I instantly feel in love with it, as I can now note all my favourite recipes, and start to share them here on my blog. I love the floral print, it’s so cute >^.^<

post-29-dec-2016-pic-2Inside when you first open it is a pocket for any notes, extra recipes, or bits of paper you may have. Basically a little pocket to add any relevant notes you may need to store, and cannot fit elsewhere in the journal.

post-29-dec-2016-pic-3Recipe sections – there are 12 pages in the first half of the journal for twelve recipes. I really like how you can write the title of your recipe. It also has a cute jar shape where you can note the ingredients, and mini jar shape where you can note the: how many people it serves, preparation time, total time, and the oven temperature.

post-29-dec-2016-pic-4On the back of the page it has a section to write the directions of the recipe, also in a cute jar shape. It is not a lot of room to write, but it would better challenge yourself to write clear, concise, to-the-point steps. Which I love.

post-29-dec-2016-pic-5Halfway through the journal is another pocket to keep extra bits for the second half of the journal recipes. I appreciate how the journal is divided into two sections. As you can have one section for meals and the other for dessert, or one section for cooking and the other for baking. You can decide how you want to use them.

post-29-dec-2016-pic-6The back cover is fully in floral print, and you can see on the label that the journal is from Daiso. You can peel off the label as it is a sticker. I really love how it is in ring-binder form as it makes it easy to turn the pages. It has a hardcover both front and back so it will last for a long time, and protect the recipes.

This recipe journal is so adorable and cute. I honestly believe it would be a perfect gift for anyone. I love the style, layout, and floral print so much. This journal will inspire me to create recipes, and have it filled out by the end of 2017. It has room for 24 recipes, so why not challenge myself to fill the pages out.

Gifts that allow me to be creative, are the best gifts for me. As they help me grow and develop better skills. I hope you enjoyed this post. Thank you so much for reading.

Have a joyful day!
