PART 4 – December drawing challenge – CHRISTMAS 2016

For the month of December 2016 I decided to draw Anime and Disney characters.

The challenge is to draw either Anime or Disney characters in ‘Christmas theme’ each day, with the last drawing being on Christmas day.

With each drawing I hope to bring happiness and inspiration to you. Each quote matches the drawing it is on, and is to remind us all that we can achieve anything that we set our minds to, and can be the best version of ourselves.

I thought I would write a few posts on my blog to share each of the drawings with you, as I have only shared these drawings on my instagram – @artistbybeauty

Each of these drawings are drawn using a fine black tip Copic ink pen and Faber Castell colouring pencils.

19) * 19 December 2016 * – Tinkerbell – I drew Tinkerbell by Disney she is a sweet fairy, her personality really sparkles, and her kindeness rubs off on others. ‘Sparkle and shine’ means that we should let our personalities sparkle, and that our unique selves should shine. We must not be afraid to show the world who we really are. Just be yourself, and be only the best version of yourself. Do not try to duplicate someone else.

20) * 20 December 2016 * – Fairy Tail – I drew Natsu and Lucy from Fairy Tail as thet are always travelling together, and manage to take some time to have fun outdoors. The quote ‘Have fun in the sun’ is to remind us to get some fresh air daily, and get som sunlight. It is important for our health that we go outside, get our daily dose of sunlight, and breathe in some fresh air.

21) * 21 December 2016 * – Pluto – I drew Pluto from Disney as a puppy. I feel that when we were children we had all sorts of dreams that we wished to achieve when we got older. Some achieve, while others forget what their dreams were. ‘Believe in your dreams’ is to awaken and remind us what our dreams are. What we want to achieve in our lives. We must first believe in our dreams, in order to achieve.

22) * 22 December 2016 * – Sailor Moon – I drew Usagi and the rest of the Sailor Scouts as Sailor Moon is one of my favourite anime. It always makes me so happy and inspires me. ‘Happiness’ is to remind us to be happy with the time we spend with friends and family. We need to find happiness even in the smallest of things, and enjoy life.

23) * 23 December 2016 * – Lilo and Stitch – I drew Stitch as he is such a fun and silly character. Super adorable. ‘Explore’ is to create awareness that we need to travel and see the world. When we go to new places, we have great experiences, and learn of other cultures. It can help a lot with personal growth when you travel to other countries or even places within your own country that you have not been to before.

24) * 24 December 2016 * – Dragon Ball Z – I drew Majin  as he is such a cheeky and fun character. He really enjoys his food. The quote ‘Make memories’ is to remind us to do more, and get out in the world to make memories. By ourselves and with those we can about. It’s the memories that we create that are most important.
