PART 2 – December drawing challenge – CHRISTMAS 2016

For the month of December 2016 I decided to draw Anime and Disney characters.

The challenge is to draw either Anime or Disney characters in ‘Christmas theme’ each day, with the last drawing being on Christmas day.

With each drawing I hope to bring happiness and inspiration to you. Each quote matches the drawing it is on, and is to remind us all that we can achieve anything that we set our minds to, and can be the best version of ourselves.

I thought I would write a few posts on my blog to share each of the drawings with you, as I have only shared these drawings on my instagram – @artistbybeauty

Each of these drawings are drawn using a fine black tip Copic ink pen and Faber Castell colouring pencils.

7) * 7 December 2016 * – Mickey & Minnie mouse – I drew these lovely characters from Disney as they are so sweet and adorable. The meaning behind the quote ‘Give’ is to remind us to give during the holidays. Not only presents but also to help others and donate where you can to help those in need.

drawing-8-dec-2016-font8) * 8 December 2016 * – Dragon Ball Super – I drew Goten and Trunks as they always find ways to have fun and explore. They really enjoy life. The quote ‘Have fun and enjoy life’ is to create awareness to have some fun and really enjoy life. To remember to not always be working and take time out from being busy. Sometimes we have to kick back and relax.

9) * 9 December 2016 * – The Little Mermaid – I drew Ariel and Prince Eric as I love this Disney movie and they show lovely affection for each other. The quote ‘Appreciate’ is to remind us to be thankful and show those we love, that we love them, and are grateful to have them in our lives. I just love the affection in this picture, it is very loving.

10) * 10 December 2016 * – Dragon Ball Super – I drew Trunks and Mai from Dragon Ball Super as they are the cutest future couple to be (you’d understand if you watch this anime >^.^<). The quote ‘Live in the moment’ is to remind us to be silly, have fun, and be ourselves in the present moment. To enjoy life and create wonderful memories.

11) * 11 December 2016 * – Lady and the Tramp – I drew these cute Disney characters as this is one of my favourite cartoon movies. The quote ‘Enjoy each day’ is to remind us to take things day by day and make the most of each day.

12) * 12 December 2016 * – Hunter x Hunter – This is my all time favourite anime. I drew Gon and Killua as they are the best of friends and travel on a journey together. The quote ‘Enjoy the journey’ is to remind us to enjoy our paths to success. Not only the big things that happen along the way, but also the little surprises as well.

    Hi there 🙂 🙂

    Wow I am actually feeling a bit sleepy. I usually get up early (at 7 am), but today I woke up at 3 pm haha.

    The reason is I was so into my artwork last night, that all of a sudden the sun came up, and it was 7 am ❤ ❤

    I don't know why, but I tend to get the best ideas for my art at night, and once I get into creating, it can be hard to stop as I want to complete it 😀 😀

    I am very proud of the artwork I have created, it is an awesome and beautiful series that I will share with you as soon as I complete, and take quality photos.

    So today I am studying, drawing, and will catch up blogs that I follow tonight.
