Australis Cosmetics – Velourlips Matte Lip Cream – REVIEW

Creamy lipsticks are the best! Ones that are long-lasting, highly pigmented, and keep lips moisturised.

I have never tried lip creams before, so when I saw the Australis Cosmetics – Velourlips Matte Lip Cream on sale for 40 percent off, I thought why not give them a try.

I have used Australis Cosmetics for many years as they provide quality products that are affordable, and cruelty-free. They are also an Australian owned company.

Australis Cosmetics – Velourlips Matte Lip Cream – I made a makeup and skincare order online from Priceline (see haul here). I purchased three colours: Par-ee (a lovely nude colour), Buda-pash (a burgundy colour), and Mel-burn (a black colour). I was lucky to purchase them each at 40 percent off the retail price $10.49 AUD as Priceline had a two day sale. I got them each for $6.29 AUD.

Australis Cosmetics – Velourlips Matte Lip Cream: Par-ee – When I first put this lip cream on I instantly fell in love with the colour. It is the perfect shade of nude, and looks so natural. I will defiantly be wearing this as an everyday lipstick. The lip cream glides on so smoothly, and is easy to apply.

Australis Cosmetics – Velourlips Matte Lip Cream: Buda-pash – Unfortunately the consistency did not go well with this lip cream. The colour is beautiful, but it is a bit blotchy. Do keep in mind that it may apply better if using a lip liner or another lipstick as a base. I will have to mix with another lippy when wearing this one.

Australis Cosmetics – Velourlips Matte Lip Cream: Mel-burn – I love this lip colour! It is a lovely black that will be good for night looks, cosplay, and going to festivals. It glides on so smoothly, and is easy to apply. I am excited to create some interesting makeup looks with this lip cream.

Overall – I love this product. It glides on easily, is long-lasting, highly pigmented, and smells really lovely. The nude colour is already a favourite of mine, and it has sold out at Priceline so other people must be loving it too >^.^<
