Eyeliner can help frame the eyes, making them stand out, and look beautiful.
Depending on how you do your eyeliner, it can either be used to enhance a sexy smokey eye, or add a pretty subtle touch to a natural daytime look.
My favourite form of eyeliner is liquid; preferably a product that includes a fine tip brush. I thought I would try something different, and purchased the e.l.f. Intense Ink Eyeliner.
e.l.f. Intense Ink Eyeliner – I purchased this eyeliner online (see makeup haul here) in the colour ‘Blackest Black’ for $8 AUD. On the back of the packaging it mentions that it has a quick drying formula, is long-lasting, and glides on smoothly.
From just looking at the eyeliner, it does look like it belongs with stationery. It is in the form of a felt. When you hold it, it is very light in weight. The size is great, as it is not too bulky, so you will not lose it when grabbing it from your bag.
Taking the lid off for the first time got me really excited when I saw the felt tip, as I love drawing, and colouring in with felt when creating art. It does have a very fine, pointy tip to ensure you get a sharp finish.
The eyeliner glides on smoothly, and easily. Although since it does dry fast, you do need to apply it quickly. Otherwise if you miss a small spot, and it has already dried, then you go to apply more it may smudge a little.
The good thing is that you do not need to dip for more eyeliner, like you would do with a liquid eyeliner with a brush applicator. Overall I still prefer a liquid eyeliner with a brush. I do like the e.l.f. Intense Ink Eyeliner, and think it is great for when I need to do my makeup quickly.
Thank you so much for reading. Have a great day!
