e.l.f. Cosmetics Moisturizing Lipstick – LIP SWATCHES

Lipsticks are a must when it comes to completing a makeup look.

I am a huge fan of red, and pink lipstick colours. What I look for when choosing a lipstick is that it is: long lasting, pigmented, and moisturising.

I recently made a purchase online from e.l.f. Cosmetics (see makeup haul here), and purchased three of the e.l.f. Moisturizing Lipsticks in colours: Cheeky, Red Carpet, and Flirty & Fabulous.

These lipsticks each retail for $8 AUD. When I first opened them, I could already tell that they were moisturising from looking at them. They smell really nice.

You can see the new style of lipstick front on both Cheeky (left), and Red Carpet (middle). Flirty & Fabulous (right) has the old style font. I love the new style font, as it has written on it the type of lipstick ‘Moisturizing Lipstick’. That way you will not forget the lipstick type, which is good, especially if you have many lipsticks from different brands.

I find the shape of the lipstick case to be comfortable to hold, as it has a smooth texture, and is light in weight.

e.l.f. Moisturizing Lipstick – Cheeky – The colour is slightly sheer, and has a beautiful shimmer to it. I really love the colour, as it is quite natural, and will be good for everyday wear.

e.l.f. Moisturizing Lipstick – Red Carpet – Red will always be a glamourous colour! It is a lovely rich red, that will be great for date nights, and creating glamour makeup looks.

e.l.f. Moisturizing Lipstick – Flirty & Fabulous – I love hot pink as a lip colour. This colour is so much fun, and will be great for summer here in Australia. It will be lovely to create cute looks with this lipstick.

These lipsticks are each moisturising, give fuller lips, and are easy to apply. They glide on so smoothly. I will have to try out the rest of the colours from the range.
